DETROIT (WWJ) A barricaded suspect accused of firing shots at his girlfriend at his Detroit home has been taken into custody.
Police say the suspect, 44, shot at his girlfriend, 29, during a domestic dispute at a home on Woodstock near 8 Mile and Woodward around 9:05 p.m. Friday.
She was able to escape without injuries.
Police arrived at the location and declared it a barricaded situation. The suspect surrendered just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators recovered a gun at the scene.
