(WWJ) It’s an end to a beary annoying problem in Traverse City.

A bear, that was wreaking havoc on the local area, has been captured by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

9&10 News reports the bear’s favorite hangout was the parking lot of the Meijer on the west side of town—knocking over dumpsters and stealing bird food.

They finally caught the bear at an apartment complex this week, after he had been on the run since last fall and dodged several attempts by the “bear police” to catch him.

The DNR plans to move the troublemaker to a more remote location in northern Michigan.
