BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) -- Police are looking for a bank robber who got away with some cash in Bloomfield Township.

At around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, Bloomfield Township Police said an employee at the MI Bank, on W. Maple Rd. at Lahser, hit the "hold up" alarm.

Employees told responding officers that a man had walked in and demanded money. The teller handed over some cash, and the man left

The suspect didn't appear to be armed, police said, and no one was hurt.

Even though officers got to the scene quickly, they weren't able to find the robber.

There is no photo or description of the man at this time, as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248-433-7755.
