BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) – An Oakland County man has reportedly been arrested after breaking into his neighbor's condo and sexually assaulting her in her bed last Thursday night.
Maher Haddad of Bloomfield Township has been charged with first-degree home invasion and second-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to a report from Fox 2.
Police officials say the woman woke up around 11 p.m. Thursday to Haddad standing over her bed inside her condo on Fox Hills Drive, near Square Lake and Opdyke Roads.
The woman yelled at him to leave, but Haddad allegedly got into the woman's bed and began kissing her neck and touching her inappropriately, according to the report.
Police officials said the victim was eventually able to lead Haddad to the front door and force him out of her home and call police.
He was arrested at his home, adjacent to the victim's condo, according to the report.
Haddad was given a $100,000 10% cash/surety bond.
