FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) Farmington Hills Police said they’re investigating the discovery of a body in a local park as a homicide.
Farmington Hills Police said the discovery of the body happened during the the afternoon of Sunday, May 3, in Woodland Hills Park in the area of I-696 and Farmington.
According to police, the department received a 911 call around 4 p.m. from a person who said they found a deceased man on a trail at the park.
Officers responded to the scene and interviewed the caller. Evidence technicians and detectives also went to the scene to conduct further investigations.
Authorities identified the victim as a 64-year-old Farmington Hills man. They're withholding his name until they notify his next of kin.
Police said there is "no current threat to the public."
