(WWJ) A missing person investigation and the discovery of a body in the River Raisin intersected in a heartbreaking way earlier this week.
Michigan State Police say Jessica Fox, 30, of Adrian was pulled from the River Raisin on Thursday. She was recovered deceased from the water in Raisin Township, about 35 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.
Lenawee County Medical Examiners identified her through an autopsy.
Fox was last seen alive on March 21 while sitting on a picnic table at the Indian Crossing Trails Park off Burt Street in Tecumseh. She told a friend she was waiting for someone to pick her up.
A friend reported her missing the following day. She was listed as an Endangered Missing Person.
No word if foul play is suspected.
