SUMPTER TWP. (WWJ) -- Murder charges have been filed in the death of a 24-year-old woman who police originally believed had committed suicide at her mobile home in Wayne County's Sumpter Township.
Haleigh Pace's 39-year-old live-in boyfriend, David McPherson, was arraigned Thursday on charges of second-degree murder and felony firearm.
He's being held on a $1 million bond and is due back in court on August 13.
Pace was found dead in her home on Montana Street in the Holiday West Mobile Home Community on June 29 of this year.
It's unclear how she died, of what evidence led to McPherson's arrest and charges.
No other details surrounding the case have been released.
McPherson will be back in court for a probable cause conference on Aug. 13.
