BROWNSTOWN (WWJ) -- A brief lockdown at Woodhaven High School on Tuesday morning stemmed from something said by a parent at the bus stop.
A 52-year-old woman, whose daughter is a student at Woodhaven, said she would go to the school and shoot someone if any harm came to her daughter, ClickOnDetroit.com reports.

The woman was at the bus stop on Mahoney Court just after 7:30 a.m. when she made the comment to the bus driver, who informed a colleague.
That person then told a school employee, who contacted Brownstown Township Police.
Officers went to the woman’s home and did not find any weapons, but took her into custody after concluding “that there was probable cause that a threat had been made,” police said.
The high school on Van Horn near Telegraph was locked down for a short time as a form of extra precaution while authorities investigated.
Classes at the high school later resumed as normal.
