CANTON (WWJ) Canton Police are investigating the cause of a deadly crash.
Canton Police said the single-vehicle crash happened on Wednesday, May 6, around 7:12 a.m. in the area of Sheldon Road and Sheldon Center.
Officers pronounced a 44-year-old Canton resident (the driver) dead at the scene.
According to authorities, a "minor" was riding in the car. First responders rushed the young person to the hospital with injuries, but listed in stable condition.
The circumstances leading to the crash and the name of the driver were not released.
