EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- Investigators say no foul play is suspected in the death of a man who was making a car delivery in Eastpointe Wednesday evening.
At around 5:40 p.m., firefighters and EMS and police were called to Gravity Auto, on Gratiot Ave., where a man unloading a vehicle became pinned between that vehicle and the roof of the trailer.
The man died at the scene.
According to Eastpointe Police, the victim owned the truck, was 50 years old, and was from Missouri.
It's not yet known what caused the accident, as the investigation continues.
Police added, in a statement: "The Eastpointe Police Department extends its condolences to the friends and family of the deceased."
The man's name was not released.
