An updated note from the Newsroom:

CBS News Radio has ended its broadcast as of today, after nearly 100 years.

So what does that mean for what you will hear on WWJ AM 950?

The first thing to know is that WWJ Newsradio 950 is NOT going anywhere. We've been on the air since 1920, and will continue to bring you the most local news in the Metro Detroit area!

We were owned by CBS for many years, but that hasn't been the case for about a decade, when CBS sold its local radio stations to the company now known as Audacy.

What will you hear on WWJ going forward?

WWJ Newsradio 950 remains your top local news station in the Detroit area, bringing you all the local news, traffic, weather, sports and business reports you count on each day. Going forward, we'll still have the top national stories, too, with content from ABC News and the Associated Press.

We very much appreciate all of our listeners! Stay tuned!

You can hear WWJ on your radio: AM 950, or stream us live in the Audacy or TuneIn app. At home, tell your smart speaker to "Play WWJ nine-fifty." >>LISTEN LIVE NOW
