(WWJ) Residential condos are coming to downtown Detroit's newest skyscraper.
Bedrock announced that 96 high-rise condominium home will be added inside the Hudson's building, on Woodward Avenue.
The condos will be called "The Residences at The Detroit Edition," with one to four bedrooms floor plans, spanning 720 square feet to more than 4,500 square feet.
The cheapest condo will cost $600,000.
Bedrock describes the project this way:
Expansive living spaces frame the Detroit skyline with floor-to-ceiling windows and 10-foot-high ceilings, creating openness throughout the home. Natural finishes and materials, including monolithic stone slabs and rich woods, complement contemporary kitchens with dark bronze hardware and premium appliances by Subzero, Wolf and Cove.
Complete with 14,000 square feet of private indoor and outdoor amenities, The Residences offer a best-in-class fitness and aquatic suite, pool, hot tub, sauna and steam rooms. Residence owners will also enjoy access to a club room, children’s playroom, co-working space, dining and catering kitchen, indoor parking garage with valet, multi-sports simulator and sound studio. Outdoor amenities take advantage of the 360-degree Detroit views with summer kitchens and lounges on a meticulously landscaped terrace.
The new condos are slated to open in 2027.
“The Residences at The Detroit EDITION set a new benchmark for Detroit, and we’re honored to lead the sales and marketing for such a transformative development,” said Susan de França, President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, in a news release Tuesday.
