WAYNE COUNTY (WWJ) - Ready or not, Michigan's unofficial fifth season is due to begin next month and officials for Wayne County kicked off by announcing details surrounding their $90 million investment into roads and bridges.
The county's Depart of Public Services released their final plans to improve and maintain over 25 roads and more than 10 bridge projects.
“While we continue to improve our roads and bridges, additional state and federal dollars are needed to assist our plan; which is a roadmap designed to continue helping us achieve the goal of being proactive and not reactive when it comes to Wayne County infrastructure,” said Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans in a press release.

The 2022 road projects will continue to build on the county's 10-Year Asset Management Plan (TAMP) and will begin in April through November.
