One of two men shot during a robbery in Inkster last night has died, police said.
Michigan State Police say the men were hit while trying to rob another man who turned out to have a licensed concealed weapon. The intended victim opened fire in the area of Cherry Hill and Middlebelt roads, and both alleged aggressors were shot.
The men managed to get away during the shooting and drove themselves to a hospital, where one died, police said.
Police said details of the incident remain unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
