DAVISBURG (WWJ) -- An elderly man from northern Oakland County has died after a crash involving a vintage Jeep.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Department says 82-year old Ronald Rader of Davisburg died on Wednesday night after turning his 1946 Jeep Willys into the path of another car on Holly and Tindall roads.
Following the crash, the Jeep went into a ditch and flipped over.
Rader was thrown from the vehicle, which did not have seatbelts, and died at the scene.
The driver of the other car, a 53-year-old Davisburg man, was not injured.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, and the situation remains under investigation by the Oakland County Sheriff's office.
