DEARBORN (WWJ) – A crash on I-94 Sunday morning has left a portion of the freeway closed for several hours.
The eastbound lanes of I-94 were closed at Greenfield Road around 11:30 a.m. after the crash, which happened shortly before 11 a.m. at Michigan Avenue.
Authorities have not released any information about the crash, including how many cars were involved or if anyone was injured.
Pictures from MDOT cameras show multiple police, fire and EMS vehicles on-scene.
WWJ Traffic reporter Jim Hughes says drivers should avoid the area, as the closure has caused heavy backups.
