REDFORD TWP. (WWJ) -- Five people were injured, but all are expected to be OK, after a crash along I-96 in Redford Township.
Michigan State Police said the crash involving only one vehicle happened just before 1 p.m., in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Beech Daly Road.
Westbound I-96 was shut down for the on-scene investigation, with traffic being ramped off at Telegraph Road.
According to Redford Police, there were five people in the car, including two adults and three juveniles.
All five were reported in stable condition, police said.
At this time, it's still unclear what led to the crash, as the investigation continues.
