DETROIT (WWJ) -- Dave Chapelle is bringing the laughs back to Detroit!
The comedian has announced four shows at the Fillmore Detroit this month, marking the venue’s first live events since shutting their doors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tickets will go on sale at noon today via LiveNation.com for performances that will take place on Tuesday, August 10 (two shows), Wednesday August 11 and Thursday, August 12.
In his usual fashion, the former Chapelle’s Show host will not allow smartphones, cameras, or recording devices of any kind during the events.
The Fillmore Detroit has also announced that attendees will each need to undergo a COVID-19 rapid test before being allowed to enter the venue. If the test is positive, that person and all members of their same household will not be permitted to attend the show.
