(WWJ) – For the longest time, hotdog stores at Home Depot stores were a beloved hardware store treat for Metro Detroiters. But then the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

But now the “Depot Dogs” are making a comeback. “Franks Again” is the first hotdog stand to reopen at the Home Depot in Troy since they were all shut down.

On a new Daily J podcast, WWJ’s Brian Fisher went to the store to find out just why Michiganders love the Home Depot hotdog experience that the owner – “Bill the Hotdog Guy” – described as “a bucket list moment.”
