WASHINGTON TWP. (WWJ) – A 22-year-old Macomb County man is set to appear in court Tuesday after being charged with selling cocaine in Washington Township.
Kyle Nowak of Washington Twp. was charged last week with one felony count of delivering a controlled substance, less than 50 grams, and one misdemeanor count of maintaining a drug house.
Nowak was caught by undercover deputies with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) as he left his home on Van Dyke near West Road in Washington Twp. on July 13.
During a search of Nowak’s home, police found 41 grams of cocaine, multiple items used for packaging narcotics, three guns – two of which were registered to Nowak and a .22 cal rifle that wasn’t registered.
Police also recovered multiple firearm magazines, ammunition and about $3,600 in cash.

Nowak was arraigned on July 14 in the 42-1 District Court of Romeo and was given a $3,000 (10%) bond.
He is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday at 10:45am for a probable cause conference.
