ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (WWJ) -- A portion of Dequindre Road is closed in Rochester Hills after collapsing due to a large sinkhole, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Dequindre is closed between Avon and School Roads, near the border of Rochester Hills and Shelby Township.
Drivers are being advised to take an alternative route to get around the closure.
Authorities are not sure when the area will be open to traffic and officials have not released any word on what may have caused the sinkhole.
