ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Prosecutor's Office has charged a Detroit man who allegedly exposed himself to shoppers at a local Walmart store.
Bryan DeAngelo May, 32, is face one count of aggravated indecent exposure in connection with an incident last Thursday, March 19, in the women's clothing department of the Walmart in Rochester Hills.
The charge is considered a high misdemeanor crime, and carries a maximum penalty of two years behind bars and a fine of up to $2,000.
“Women and girls have a right to feel safe when shopping,” said Prosecutor Karen McDonald, in a statement. “No one should just ‘put up' with this behavior. If you’re victimized, call the police. This is a crime, and we will hold these criminals accountable.”
Jail records show May was booked on the charge the day of the incident, and that he received a $30,000/10% bond in 52-3 District Court.
Further details about the incident were not immediately released.
