DETROIT (WWJ) A Detroit man is behind bars after a criminal complaint filed in federal court charged him with sex trafficking.

United States Attorney Saima Moshin made the announcement, with FBI Special Agent in Charge Timothy Waters.

The criminal complaint charged Kevin Giles, 55. It alleges the FBI received information on April 6 that a teenage girl, 17, had run away from home and was living with Giles at his home on Pembroke in Detroit. They learned a second girl, 16, was also living at Giles' house.

Both girls were "engaged in commercial sex acts" at the home, according to the FBI. The complaint claims Giles would put commercial sex advertisements involving the girls on a website, including videos and photographs of both victims.

An adult victim was also found in Giles' home, the FBI said.

The FBI has not released information on whether or not the girls and woman have been reunited with their families.

Giles is due back in court on June 1. The FBI is asking for any additional victims of Giles to come forward. Anyone with additional information on the case is asked to call FBI's Detroit Field Office at 1-313-965-2323.
