Man, woman sought by police after early morning argument in Detroit gas station parking lot escalates to gunfire

DETROIT (WWJ) – The search continues for a man and woman who were seen fleeing from the scene of a fatal shooting at a Detroit gas station over the weekend.

It all unfolded around 2:15 a.m. Sunday at a BP gas station on McNichols Road near Outer Drive on the city’s west side.

A 32-year-old man had gotten into an argument with a man when the suspect walked up and fired a single shot, hitting the victim, according to police.

The suspect then fled the scene in a Chevy Cruze, along with a female passenger, who is considered a person of interest in the case, according to police.

Authorities did not say what sparked the argument in the parking lot.

Police on Tuesday released photos of the man and woman, along with the car they were seen leaving in. On Wednesday, an additional suspects photo (above) was released, as the search for both suspects is ongoing.
