DETROIT (WWJ) – A man seen on camera urinating on snacks at a Detroit gas station has been arrested.

Detroit police have not released the man’s name, but said he turned himself in to police after the video made its rounds in the media on Tuesday.

Authorities released the video on Tuesday showing the man became upset after his credit card was declined at a gas station in the 14000 block of East Warren Ave, near Chandler Park on the city’s east side around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The video was captured on a phone by the gas station clerk.

Two other men were seen egging the suspect on and one was seen exposing himself, also captured on camera.

The man who urinated on the snack shelf also stole some of the snacks on his way out – including some of the soiled ones on the ground. He also mooned the clerk before exiting the store.

Neither of the other men have been arrested yet.

Detroit police officials said Tuesday since the gas station is a Project Green Light location, there was also in-store footage of the men. Authorities said Tuesday they had already identified the man.
