DETROIT (WWJ) — The search is on for a 14-year-old Detroit boy with Autism who hasn't been seen since last week.
Detroit police officials on Monday said the family of Elijah McGhee reported him missing on Sunday, two days after he was last seen at their home on Manning Street.
The boy left his family's home — in the area of Gratiot and State Fair on the city's northeast side — without permission on Friday, Nov. 15, and he never came home
Police describe Elijah as 5-foot-4, 230 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans and black Jordan brand shoes.
The boy's mother told police he is autistic. No other circumstances surrounding his disappearance have been released.
