DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police say a teenage girl who went missing back in November has been found.
Police said Jachaelah Amarah, 15, left without permission from her home on Stoepel at Elmhurst, in the area of Livernois and the Davison, on Nov. 20, 2024. She was reported missing the next day, when she didn't return.
The evening of Jan. 7, 2025, the Detroit Police Department provided an update, stating that Amarah was recovered.
Police did not say where the teen was located, and no further information was released.
