UPDATE: Detroit Police say DeSean Smith has been recovered and is "doing fine." No other details have been released on his disappearance.

(WWJ) Detroit Police are calling on tips to help find a teenage boy who has been missing for over two months.


Police say DeSean Smith, 16, left his home on Littlefield and Thatcher on July 30 around 11:30 p.m. He walked away after an argument with his mother, according to police. He was originally reported missing on August 12.

DeSean is described as 5'6", 160-170 lbs. He has short black twisted hair, with a mustache and hair on his chin. He has a tattoo on his shoulder reading "Loyalty Over Everthing," police said. He vanished wearing a gray Nike shirt and black pants, carrying a red book bag.

Police say he is in good mental and physical health.
