DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police in Detroit say a teenager with autism who was reported missing Tuesday night has been found safe.
Police said Daishawn Williams, who went missing from his family's home in the 6400 block of Heyden on the city's southwest side, is doing fine.
Authorities did not say where he was found.
He left without permission and failed to return home, police said.
Williams's mother says he is autistic.
