DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are looking for a student allegedly involved in a stabbing outside of a Detroit high school Thursday morning.
Chrystal Wilson, the Detroit Public School district spokeswoman, said the student allegedly stabbed a family member or someone close to the family in a car outside of Henry Ford High School on the city's northwest side during student arrival.

The student fled after the alleged stabbing.
Authorities are investigating the incident and Detroit police are currently conducting a search for the student in the area of Evergreen, south of Eight Mile.
Officers told dispatch that a male was cut in the leg with a boxcutter, but didn't have serious bleeding.
Wilson said the adult did not have life-threatening injuries.
No students or teachers at the school were hurt, said Wilson.
