The student fled after the alleged stabbing.

Authorities are investigating the incident and Detroit police are currently conducting a search for the student in the area of Evergreen, south of Eight Mile.

Officers told dispatch that a male was cut in the leg with a boxcutter, but didn't have serious bleeding.

Wilson said the adult did not have life-threatening injuries.

No students or teachers at the school were hurt, said Wilson.
