DETROIT (WWJ) -- A Detroit teen who fired gunshots at police earlier in the week received a handful of charges on Thursday.
Alex Hailey, 18, is now facing two counts of assault with intent to commit murder, two counts of felonious assault, third-degree fleeing and eluding and four counts of felony firearm.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Hailey was speeding and driving "erratically" -- even cutting off a firetruck -- through Detroit on Tuesday.
When they tried to pull him over, police said he fired several gunshots back at them, but nobody was hit.
Hailey was arrested with the help of Detroit police.
