DETROIT (WWJ) -- As Detroit prepares for one of the coldest nights this winter, police are working to help a mother find her missing son.
14-year-old Sanchez Shelton was last seen Tuesday morning at his home in the 15300 block of Kentfield St., near Evergreen and Fenkell in Detroit.
When the teen did not return home that evening, his mother reported him missing.
Sanchez is a Black male, 14 years old, with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
His mother says he was wearing an all-black coat with a fur hood, a burgundy polo shirt and tan pants. He was also carrying an all-black backpack with an Air Jordan logo on it.
