(WWJ) Detroit Police say a 15-year-old boy has turned himself in after meeting up with a woman he met on a dating app.

The woman, 24, told officers she had picked up the teen and the man on December 2nd around 11 p.m to "hang out" on Northlawn.

After driving about 6 miles, the teen punched her in the face and pushed her face against the window. He then told the second suspect, 24 to 30 years old, to drag her out of the vehicle.

The older man opened the driver-side door and threw her to the ground. They flung her purse out the window, as they sped away from the area of Margareta and Meyers in her car.

Police found the victim's black 2012 Chryster 200 the following day. The second suspect remains on the run.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit Police Department.
