Detroit's Michigan Science Center in running to be named best in the country: Find out how to vote

DETROIT (WWJ) -- With only a few days left to vote, the heat is on for Detroit's Michigan Science Center to beat out the competition and be named the best science museum in the country.

The annual USA Today 10 Best Competition ends on Monday, March 14, and Michigan Science is currently neck-and-neck for the top spot with The Center of Science and Industry of Columbus and The Great Lakes Center of Cleveland.

Museum officials are asking the public to vote as they're up against these two Ohio-based science centers that have huge followings. But they say MiSci's patrons are "pushing hard and voting every day."

Michigan Science Center in Detroit, Michigan
Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio
Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, Georgia
The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Saint Louis Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri
Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois
Rochester Museum & Science Center in Rochester, New York
National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii
