WOODHAVEN, Mich. (WWJ) -- A dog who was tossed from a moving vehicle is recovering at a Downriver animal hospital.
The Woodhaven Animal Hospital posted a photo on Facebook Monday morning of the dog, who they’ve fittingly decided to call Hope.
Hope apparently suffered fractures to her ribs, hips and back when she was thrown, but was still wagging her tail for the vets.
It was not clear where or when Hope was found, or whether any law enforcement agencies are investigating, but hospital employees say she was transferred Monday morning from Affiliated Veterinarian Emergency in Allen Park and they will provide updates on her progress.
