PONTIAC (WWJ) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect at large after a deadly double shooting, Tuesday morning in Pontiac.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, the killings happened at around 8 a.m. on Oct. 8. in an apartment in the 100 block of North Sanford St., near Fiddis Ave.
Deputies responded to a 911 call about shots fired and found the two victims, who'd both been shot multiple times.
Officials said a 20-year-old man was pronoucned dead at the scene, and a 24-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.
The OCSO said the victims have been identified, but their names are being withheld until their families can be notified.
The sheriff's office said witnesses told deputies that they saw a person running from the scene after the shootings.
There's no known motive for this crime at this time, and there's no description of the suspect.
Detectives and the sheriff’s crime lab are investigating.
