DETROIT (WWJ) — Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left a man dead on Detroit's east side Thursday afternoon.
Detroit police officials tell WWJ the shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 31 on Saratoga Avenue, near 7 Mile and Gratiot.
It was not clear why the man was shot and authorities have not released any circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police have not released a description of a suspect.
The victim, who officials believe is in his 30s, was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
