
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are turning to the public for help in finding a missing teen with a mental health disability after he left his home on Tuesday evening and never returned.
The Detroit Police Department said 15-year-old Dorian Brooks hasn't been seen or heard from in three days after he was picked up in a silver 4-door sedan from his home in the 18400 block of Avon around 10 p.m. on August 1.
According to authorities, the teen took off without permission. His father told police that Brooks is living with Schizophrenia.
Brooks is described by police as a Black male who stands 5'3" tall and weighs 115 lbs. He has brown hair and a brown afro hairstyle with no known tattoos or scars.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray jogging pants and light colored Air Jordan shoes.
