DETROIT (WWJ) - Detectives in Detroit are asking for the public's help in tracking down an 18-year-old person-of-interest allegedly connected to a shooting that killed a 13-year-old and injured a 17-year-old.
The Detroit Police Department said they wish to speak with Christian Malone, 18, who was captured on surveillance video with the suspect at the time of the incident on Thursday, March 16.
According to authorities, the unknown suspect open fired around 4:18 p.m. in the 13900 block of Frankfort, hitting two males with bullets.
One of the victims, a 13-year-old boy, was fatally wounded while the second victim, a 17-year-old, was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

In video footage released by police, detectives point out that Malone can be seen wearing all black clothing. The suspect is wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and white shoes.
