DETROIT (WWJ) A tow truck driver died when the bed of his own tow truck crushed him on Detroit's west side, police said.

Detroit Police said it happened on Wednesday, April 15, around 4:00 p.m. in the area of Oakman and Grand River.




According to police, the bed of his tow truck fell on him. It appears to be accidental.

The victim's name and age were not released.

The investigation continues.
