DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are asking for tips as they search for a driver wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Detroit.
Just after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, police said a man in his 30s was hit by a Chevy Equinox at Plymouth and Evergreen Rd., on the city's west side.
The suspect driver continued driving after hitting the victim, but then turned around, came back to the scene, and stopped the car police said.
At that point, it's alleged that the driver and a passenger got out of the car, took a look at the victim, returned to the vehicle and again drove away.
The victim did not survive, police said.
As of Tuesday, Aug. 25, investigators were still looking for the driver.
