TROY (WWJ) -- An Oakland County woman is facing a drunken driving charge after she was arrested in a fast food drive-thru in Troy.

Just after 5 a.m. on Sunday, March 23, Troy Police officers responded to the McDonald's at Rochester Rd. and Big Beaver Rd. on a report about a driver who'd fallen asleep in the drive-thru.

When offices woke the 26-year-old Rochester Hills woman up, she told them she'd had just one drink about an hour ago.

The woman was asked to perform several sobriety evaluations, police said, but she "performed poorly."

She then tested at .128% BAC (blood alcohol concentration) on a breathalyzer test and was arrested. She was taken to the Troy Police lock up where she was read her Chemical Test rights and agreed to submit to a Chemical Breath Test with results of .139% and .138%, police said.

The woman was issued a citation for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). Her name was not released.
