EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- Eastpointe Police are searching for information after a 38-year-old man was found shot to death in his basement on Wednesday.
Officers were dispatched just before 1:30 p.m. to a home on Ridgecroft Avenue between 10 Mile Road and Stephens Highway, and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man's ex-girlfriend reportedly made the discovery and contacted authorities.
Department pastors were sent to the scene to comfort the relatives of the victim.
