When they arrived, Willie James-Blade Ballard, 41, allegedly tossed a bag containing a “white powdery substance” out of a second story window.

The bag, which nearly struck a Detroit police officer, was later determined to contain cocaine, according to the Eastpointe Police Facebook page.

Along with the recovered bag of cocaine, officers also allegedly found 926 cocaine rocks in individual baggies when they searched the home.

Ballard was arrested and charged with delivery/manufacture of cocaine (50-449 grams), maintaining a drug house, possession of firearms by a felon, and three counts of felony firearm. His bond was set at $25,000.
