BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) -- Video has been released showing multiple young suspects who are wanted in a flash mob-style theft at a sporting goods store in Bloomfield Township.
According to the Bloomfield Township Police Department, this happened Sunday, June 19. at Dick’s Sporting Goods on S. Telegraph Road.

At around 6:30 p.m., police responded to a call about a retail fraud in progress.
Employees said a group of eight people — all around 17 to 25 years old — were running around the store stealing miscellaneous merchandise.
The suspects ran out of the store and fled the area in a white older-model Chevy Suburban and a white Chevy Blazer.
Two stolen clothing items were recovered from the parking lot with a total value of $220, police said, but it's unclear how much merchandise the suspects actually got away with.
This type of robbery, sometimes called a "flash rob", is a form of organized retail crime (ORC) where a large group of people abruptly swarms a retail store, overwhelms staff, in a coordinated effort.
Police released video footage of the robbery on Tuesday, as the investigation by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit continues.
