REDFORD TWP. (WWJ) -- An Endangered Missing Advisory has been posted for a missing Wayne County woman who may need help.
The Redford Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 41-year-old Lashon Blackwell, who is considered an "at risk" missing person.
According to police, she was last seen at around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, in the area of Puritan and Salem in Redford.
Blackwell is described as a Black female, 5'4'' tall and weighing 235 lbs., with black braided hair. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater with black pants.
Police said she lives with bipolar disorder/schizophrenia.
Anyone who has seen Blackwell, or who has information that could assist police in helping safely locate her, is asked to call 911 or Redford Township Police at 313-387-2500.
