WARREN (WWJ) — Clean-up efforts are underway after an excavator working a demolition job in Warren fell in a hole.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon on Van Dyke near 8 Mile, according to WWJ's Charlie Langton.
"You don't see this often," Langton said at the scene.
While it was not immediately clear what building was being demolished, Langton reported the excavator "got caught on something and it went right over."
"Now we've got a number of people here trying to right-side the thing, figure out how to do it," Langton said, noting work was expected to resume after the excavator was taken out of the hole.
Langton reported there were no injuries. It was not immediately clear how long the efforts were expected to take.
