DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit family is hoping the public can help get answers in relation to the murder of their loved one.
Authorities say 31-year-old Shannon Moore was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a home at 20444 Kingsville St., on Detroit’s east side, on Nov. 11, 2023.
Moore’s family held a press conference with Crime Stoppers on Jan. 12, 2024.
“He didn’t deserve this,” Cecelia Barnes, Moore’s mother, said. “He had a whole life to live. He left behind his 12-year-old son.”
The family believes that the suspect is someone who was close to Moore, Barnes said during the press conference.
