Speaking at a news conference alongside his sisters, Chavies' mother, Angelique said her son is grieved daily by the four beautiful daughters he left behind.
She said he worked for FedEx, enjoyed playing basketball and video games, and was just a very much a joy to be around.
"His family was always his first priority; not even just his kids," Angelique said. "His sisters, his grandparents... he just made sure everybody was straight. He was a hard worker, he was."

The mom urged her son's killer to do the right thing and come forward. "To be honest, I forgive you. I have prayed for you, I have prayed for your family; although you brought this injustice to my family. And we just want you to pay for what you took away from us."
