Farmington Hills (WWJ) A Farmington Hills man has been arraigned on charges of shooting and killing his younger brother.

Fredrick Delano Logan, 30, was arraigned Wednesday (5/29) on one count of Second-Degree Murder, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and two counts of Felony Firearm.

Farmington Hills Police said Logan’s mother called 911 saying Logan had shot her younger son during an argument. It happened at their home on Saratoga Circle near 11 Mile and Halsted on Saturday, May 25, approximately 3:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find Ricky Williams III, 28, in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transferred to Corewell Hospital where he died.

According to police, Logan had fled the scene by the time officers arrived. Police deployed multiple K9 units, drones; and numerous officers to look for him. Investigators from the Farmington Hills Investigative Bureau, Directed Patrol Unit and South Oakland Narcotics Information Consortium eventually arrested him on Sunday (5/26), in the area of 11 Mile and Groesbeck. The Warren Police Department assisted in the arrest.

A Not Guilty Plea was entered on behalf of Logan at arraignment at 47th District Court, and bond was denied. He was remanded to the Oakland County Jail. He is due back in court on June 5th.
